the front panel was not spot welded to the bottom of the box. this allows items to fall out. I will have to drill hole and add small sheet metal screws or pop rivets to repair. either bad design or poor quality.

This is a decent storage chest. I use it in the back of a truck that has a fiberglass topper on it. I would question if the box would stand up to the weather but for my application it works just fine.

Solves an issue for lockable storage in the CJ/YJ/TJ series. Removed seat and use this box. Great with almost full use of all available space + able to put boat seat cushions on top for extra seating in a pinch. Holds all winch stuff, tools, etc...
